CURRICULUM

CAMPS and EXCURSIONS

Camps are held each year with a twofold purpose:

  • Firstly they allow students another opportunity to develop skills such as camping, hiking, bush survival, cooking, surfing, and snorkelling.
  • Secondly, and most importantly, they offer the opportunity for social interaction, community sharing and the development of interpersonal skills.

Excursions are held regularly. These give further educational opportunities and provide incentives for students to behave well. School excursions have included the Grand Prix, mini golf, Bounce, MCG sports museum, cinemas, go-karting, art galleries, parks, botanic gardens, zoos, Sovereign Hill, local library and Melbourne Museum.
