Green and Red room students have been working hard on their vocational skills as part of the Duke of Ed Award. Achieving First Aid certificates; completing the skills component this term. Successfully progressing towards their Bronze Award and gaining additional certificates along the way—well done!
3 day camp to Phillip Island was action packed. Penguins, surf lessons, Churchill Farm, Chocolate Factory, A Maze N Things, waterfall, pelicans...
Students completed certification for the Duke of Edinburgh Award skills section. Foundational food safety knowledge was first built in class and then demonstrated during a 4 hour practical conducted by Edway Training. Learning life skills and enhancing resumes.
Students visited Lume, immersing themselves in Van Gogh art
Enjoying speed boating, rock climbing and boogie boarding activities. It was the pre-qualifying Duke of Edinburgh camp for Year 9 students.
